Download Google Camera 8.2 for Asus ROG Phone 5 & 5 Ultimate

Last year at Google I/O, the company announced a preview of Android P, its next major version of Android. Included in the preview was a new camera app designed to be more in line with the company’s deeply integrated Pixel camera, this being the first time Google had changed the name of its camera app. This year, Google has rolled out a more complete version of the app, which also includes a new video stabilisation feature. While Google has yet to release Android P, or bring it to older versions of Android, the new camera app is already available to download for older versions of Android, like the ASUS ROG Phone 5.

Asus ROG Phone 5 & 5 Ultimate, the latest generation of game-changing (and game-perfect) powerhouses. The phone that launched the Asus ROG Phone 5 & 5 Ultimate — and the first ever gaming phone to run the Vulkan API — is the best Android gaming smartphone you can buy. It’s also one of the fastest Android phones you can buy, and it’s the first real gaming phone to run on Android 8.0. The ROG Phone 5 and 5 Ultimate are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, coupled with an exceptional 6GB RAM. And of course, it comes with a sweet 5.7″ AMOLED display. Oh, and the ROG Phone 5 and 5 Ultimate come with a killer pair

We are happy to announce that we have now published the Google Camera 8.2 for Asus ROG Phone 5 & 5 Ultimate. The Google Camera app is one of the best photo apps out there when it comes to portrait shots. However, there are some limitations when it comes to video recording. In the latest version of the Google Camera app, you can now record videos in Full HD at 60 fps by using the new video stabilization feature that is available in the Google Camera app.

Since its conception, the camera hasn’t been the primary draw of a gaming phone, and the ROG Phone 5 is no exception. The smartphone has a triple-lens camera module, which is identical to the ROG Phone III from last year. On the rear panel of the Asus ROG Phone 5, there is a 64MP Sony IMX686 QuadBayer sensor, which takes excellent pictures. However, if you want to try something else to improve the picture quality, you may use the Pixel 5’s camera app (GCam Mod). Google Camera for Asus ROG Phone 5 may be downloaded from this page.

Asus has released their newest gaming phone, which has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The default camera app from Asus comes with a slew of helpful features, like Night Mode UI, Portrait Mode, Pro Mode, and other basics. Using these many settings, the smartphone is able to take good pictures. If you want a better option, you may utilize Google Camera from the Pixel 5, which, fortunately, is compatible with the ROG Phone 5.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 is running the latest mod version of Google Camera – GCam 8.2. The ported APKs may be downloaded directly from this site.

After you’ve downloaded the APK, you’ll need to set things up by downloading the config file from the links below.

Note: Make sure to uninstall the previous version of the Gcam Mod ported software before installing the new one. Because this is a beta version of Google Camera, it may have problems.
